Community medical outreach

Over two days in November 2025, a borrowed field in Lekki became a clinic. What follows is the day as it happened, from the queue that formed at the gate to the medicine handed over at the far end.

    The four things our partner reports as most pressing.

    • water-borne skin disease
    • malnutrition and vitamin deficiency
    • mosquito nets and insecticide
    • the unaffordability of medical care

    Reported by the delivery partner, whose community of around 2,000 people, roughly half of them children the outreach serves.

Our delivery partner runs two grand community outreaches a year, in April and November, alongside two smaller clinics every month. The field is borrowed, the team is assembled, and the date is already in the calendar. What decides its size is what has been funded by the time it arrives.
